For Students and New Professionals (S&NP)

  • Student: A person who is currently enrolled at any academic institution (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, etc.)
  • Transitional Member: A person who has graduated from an academic program in the past 12 months
  • New Professional: A person who has been working in public health for less than 3 years

There are many reasons that S&NPs are attracted to NJSOPHE. A few of the many benefits of being a S&NP include:

  • Reduced annual membership dues
  • Scholarships
  • Access to job postings
  • CHES assistance
  • Poster presentation opportunities

The S&NP Committee collaborates on programs for our members. If you are interested in getting involved, please reach out! We are always looking for new minds to partner with. Participation is mostly virtual, through e-mail and conference calls.
