New Jersey Society for Public Health Education

For Students and New Professionals (S&NP)

Student: An individual who is currently enrolled at any academic institution (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, etc.)

Transitional Member: A member who has graduated from an academic program in the past 12 months

New Professional: An individual who has been working in health education for less than 3 years

There are many reasons that S&NPs are attracted to NJ SOPHE. A few of the many benefits of being a S&NP include:

  • Reduced annual membership dues
  • Scholarships
  • Access to job postings
  • CHES assistance
  • Poster presentation opportunities

Get involved!

The S&NP Committee has a committee chair and members who volunteer their time to collaborate on programs for our members. If you are interested in getting involved, please reach out! We are always looking for new minds to partner with. Participating in the committee requires mostly electronic contact consisting of email threads and conference calls.
