Awards

• Health Educator of the Year Award – for a member who has shown an active commitment to NJSOPHE and excellence in the practice of health education.

• Louise Chut Award for Program Excellence – for outstanding contributions made by a health education project or program.

• Outstanding Health Materials Award – for excellence in the creation of health education materials, including print, multi-media, and training materials.

• NJSOPHE Trophy – for a member who has gone "above and beyond” the call of duty for NJSOPHE, who has dedicated countless hours toward the betterment of the organization, and who exemplifies commitment and loyalty to the profession.

• President’s Award – given by the outgoing NJSOPHE President to a person who has made extraordinary contributions to the practice of health education, through achievement in their work and through commitment to NJSOPHE.

Scholarships

• The Karen Denard Goldman Academic Scholarship - $500 to a student who embodies the health education competencies and values essential to being a successful public health professional and advocate.

• Anna Skiff CHES Scholarship - Thinking about getting your CHES/MCHES? This scholarship covers the exam registration fee.

• Carol Revfi Memorial Scholarship for Professional Development -  Up to $500 for the registration fee at a professional conference.

• Annual Meeting Scholarship - We offer two hardship scholarships for the Annual Meeting (one for members and one for non-members).
  
  

• SOPHE Advocacy Summit Scholarship - We offer the cost of registration to the annual SOPHE Advocacy Summit and cost of annual SOPHE membership for one member.
