Our History

The New Jersey Chapter of the Society for Public Health Education (NJSOPHE) was established in 1984.

For over 35 years, NJSOPHE has served as a professional home for health educators across the state to share best practices, network across work settings and specialties, and partner with other  organizations on public health issues.
