Carolina's passion for public health began when she enrolled as an AmeriCorps member back in 2013. Working with under-served populations and learning about the health disparities and inequities that paralyze these communities is what sparked her interest in the multidisciplinary field of public health. Throughout her career she has had the opportunity to work in Newark making a positive impact teaching members at the city's Boys and Girls Club. Carolina hopes to continuously advocate and make a positive impact on communities like these.
