NJSOPHE history: Tara has been a member of NJSOPHE since 2017, first serving as the Advocacy Chair, and then President in 2022.
Bio: Tara is a healthcare strategist and has spent the last 15 years working to help improve the health care experience for people living with chronic and/or life-threatening illnesses. Currently leading the Social Science Strategy team at McCann Health New York, her work helps to uncover customer challenges and identify behavioral strategies to help overcome them.
Before her work as a strategist, Tara worked in various clinical settings developing patient education programs and providing integrative therapy services. This understanding has shaped perspective and ability to provide practical and effective solutions for those looking to improve these experiences.
Tara has her Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH), and is a Masters Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES).
