Kimberly Pierre, MPH, CHESkimberlynjsophe @ gmail.comNJSOPHE History: Kimberly has been an active member of NJSOPHE since 2022, having previously held a position as an elected board member. Currently, she serves in the role of Program Chair. Furthermore, Kimberly was honored with the Health Educator of the Year award in 2023. Bio: Kimberly is a public health professional with expertise in health promotion, community outreach, health education, and research. Kimberly is also a public health consultant, a public servant at the Township of Irvington, Associate Director of Community Outreach at the Substance and Sexual Health Lab at Yale University, and an adjunct professor at Montclair State University. She is a first-generation public health professional determined to improve the health of marginalized communities. She holds her MPH from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Montclair State University. |
Breon Boseman-Sims, MPH, MCHES Bio: Breon Boseman-Sims, MPH, MCHES has served as the Health Educator at Union County Office of Health Management since March 2022 where she develops and delivers targeted health education presentations, workshops, materials, and health fairs to various communities within the county area. She is an alumna of Montclair State University where she received her Master of Public Health in 2021, also earning her CHES in that year, and recently, she earned her MCHES in October 2025. Currently pursuing her Ed.D in Educational Technology Leadership at New Jersey City University, she believes that the way to elevate health education and public health initiatives is through embracing technology and using it as a tool to amplify connection, understanding, and access. She is excited to work with the NJSOPHE board as the Program Co-Chair to offer colleagues refreshing professional development experiences. |
