NJSOPHE History:Amy has been involved in NJSOPHE since 2015. She has enjoyed many mid-year and annual meetings, and participated in the Advocacy Committee in 2021. Amy is looking forward to getting more involved in NJSOPHE this year by serving as secretary.
Bio: Amy received a BA in Health and Exercise Science from Messiah University, and her MPH with a concentration in Community Health and Prevention from Drexel University. She is Certified in Public Health and is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist. Amy currently serves as Health Promotion Manager at Bergen's Promise in Hackensack, NJ. She has over 10 years of experience in public health education and integrated care and is passionate about helping youth and families sustainably improve their overall health and wellness. Amy also serves as an adjunct professor overseeing public health internship experiences at New Jersey City University, is a member of Mercy University's Professional Advisory Council, and co-leads the Bergen County Community Health Improvement Partnership's Mental Health and Substance Use Task Force.
