NJSOPHE history: Sarah has been a member of
NJSOPHE since 2018. She was NJSOPHE’s 2018 Karen Denard Goldman Academic
Scholarship recipient.
Bio: Sarah began her public
health career as an Affordable Care Act (ACA) Navigator in 2016. Since then,
her work has evolved into developing and implementing strategies to improve
population health outcomes. She earned her Certified Health Education
Specialist (CHES) license in 2019 and now serves as a Health Educator and PHAB
Accreditation Coordinator at Bloomfield Department of Health and Human
Services. Sarah received her B.S. in Public Health and M.P.H. in Community
Health Education from Montclair State University. Currently, she is pursuing an
M.B.A. in Health Economics, Policy, and Administration at Ball State
University’s Miller College of Business.
